Parallel Coordinate Plot

A parallel coordinate plot has multiple vertical axis with lines interconnecting them as a set of points.  They are mainly used to see relationships between several different variables.  The plot above is a parallel coordinate plot because is has the multiple vertical planes with the lines and relationships flowing between them along with the color coding scale on the side.  It compares all cells in a fruit fly with nine selected genes.
